Google is wrapping up a month-long celebration of its tenth anniversary with a special birthday logo based on its original image.

The design is depicting birthday decorations and cake on top of the original 1998 logo. We love you Google! You are a great Friend and Inspiration!

The custom logo is a well known tradition that is followed by Google, and the company has marked holidays and special occasions with new logos everytime. This all started back in 1998 itself, when Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page took a short holiday from their fledgling company to attend the infamous Burning Man festival. In order to notify other users, the two inserted a small Burning Man image into the Google logo.
