Google holds off Yahoo deal

Published in Google by Aditi Tuteja

Google has slowed down rather holding off on the advertising deal they were planning with Yahoo, this is done to allow more time for the competition aspects to be studied by regulators.
When they last announced about this advertising agreement with Yahoo in June they were going to delay its execution till October to provide regulators time to look at all aspects.
This deal would allow Google to serve some of the ads that would appear with Yahoo’s search results.

Google initially estimated 100 days for regulators to investigate the deal but it seems it is going to take longer. However, this time the delay is for an unspecified period.
