Google Image Search Gets More Precise

Published in Google by sushaantu

One of my favorite past-time is to find amazing pictures on the web which makes me quite a regular user of Google Image Serach. Google made some improvements in its Image Search by integrating the option to search images showing news content, faces, clip art, line drawings and photo images etc.

The latest hidden feature that one user called Michael Garmahis has found is that now you can search images by its dimensions. For instance if you need an image of 1280×800 pixels then you can mention it in the search bar as “imagesize:1280×800 search query”

I have used the search query “obama” as you can see in the image above and it is only showing me images of 1280×800 pixels. This search feature was much sought after and it’s has been probably hiding for some time because Google did not mention it in any of their blogposts.
