Google Nexus S review

Google’s Android smartphone, Google Nexus S is out and available for purchase at Best Buy in the US. Google Nexus S is the first device to run the very new Android 2.3 “Gingerbread” operating system.

Google Nexus S has a curved, WVGA Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera with flash, android based NFC wireless tag reader, the Nexus S has more than just a new OS… Just like Nexus One…Nexus S is here to make the waves.

I am especially intrigued by its display and improved user interface. I can safely call it the best Android smartphone if you are looking to get a new smartphone.

Carphone Warehouse in the UK will start selling Google Nexus S from December 20th.

It is manufactured by Samsung and measures 124.5mm x 63mm x 11mm (4.9in x 2.5in x .4in) and weighs 129.5g (4.6oz) making it slimmer than Samsung’s Vibrant phone.

New operating system, that adds new user experience and better functionality are the striking features on Google NExus S. Especially the new task manager, which would let the user to kill running apps. The new changes to the keyboard and select/copy/paste system. The new keyboard is better than previous versions.

Price for Nexus S is $529 for unlocked and $199 with a T-mobile contract.
