The HTC Maple has been revealed by CNet Germany and not by HTC itself and is said to have appeared during the recent Mobile World Congress. It is the successor of the Excalibur and the Cavalier and is another smartphone that doesn’t hold too much of a high-end design.

HTC Maple is full keyboard bar phone using the window mobile system it has a feel like Blackberry Cell phone. If you are not accustomed to touch operation, this cell phone are a good choice.

As expected this will be in a candybar design and will have a full QWERTY keyboard but with no touch screen on-board. A trackball at the middle will help in easy scrolling through pages while browsing the internet. This will run on Windows Mobile Standard Edition and will also have an “Inner Circle” feature that will be pre-installed to improve the way you communicate with your friends and other contacts by grouping them in different categories.

It is also said to have a 2-megapixel camera, but is not sure on whether it  will have Wi-Fi access, 3G or GPS. Pricing and date availability also remains undisclosed as of the moment.
