LG has just announced another cellular phone that will focus on social-networking. This device will be called the LG GT505, and it is said to be a version of the LG GT500 Puccini, which will be for T-Mobile network, and that this one will be an Orange UK exclusive.
This is obviously a touch-screened device with 3-inch display, plus it will also have a 5-megapixel camera for high-res photos, 3G HSDPA support for faster internet browsing, and Wi-Fi to stay connected anywhere. And since this is a social networking-oriented device, there will also be support for “push” social networking updates, which lets users see the latest updates, info and photos posted on their favorite social networking sites.
This also allows users to change their profile, update their status messages, and even upload their new photos. There will also be GPS chipset and 30-day trial of the WisePilot mobile navigation software to complete.
This LG GT505 is said to hit Orange UK this June, though pricing and exact release date is still unknown.
