MetroPCS has announced the availability of the Samsung Tint, a compact flip phone with integrated camera and messaging features. MetroPCS offers the Samsung Tint with ChatLINKa, the network’s push-to-talk service.

The Samsung Tint SCH-r420 is sleek and looks fine, especially in its gray with pink color scheme, which is more suitable for the ladies, of course. In case you don’t like it that way though, you can still go for some of the other available faceplates. There’s nothing really spectacular about the features, it has a 1.9-inch display, GPS, camera, Bluetooth, Push to Talk and IM messaging.Users can surf the web, download ringtones and download graphics for use with the phone. The device supports Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free operation.

The Samsung Tint comes with grey and pink faceplates (additional colors are also available) and is for sale now for $129 in all metropolitan areas where MetroPCS is available. You are able to get the Samsung Tint with all possible Metro PCS service plans at every authorized dealer of the carrier, plus its own stores. Unfortunately, the price of the new phone hasn’t been announced, so we guess you will just have to ask. Still, we expect that it would be more on the affordable side.
