Motorola KRE8 Advanced Music Phone

Published in Motorola by Jyoti

Motorola has a music phone concept, which they have named as the KRE8. It actually looks like a portable media player, so if this will be built, then definitely, this is going to be one of the weirdest looking phones around.

It has a full touch screen display and it can be literally split into two separate sections with each having their accelerometers for detecting any gestures you make. These pieces are envisioned by its designer, Jose Tomas DeLuna, as devices to make as an instrument simulator for guitar, violin or drums, or even start creating your own music, which can be recorded in midi format. It is also said that this concept phone is actually about sharing music, with the help of course of a GPS. This lets the phone leave a trail of musical experiences behind, and when other KRE-8 users go to that same spot, they hear that same music.

This phone is also said to come with three pre-loaded music modes: Instrument, Record and Mix, which can be activated and controlled through the touch screen. Aside from that, this phone should as well have 3G, GPS and a lot more advanced music features.

It is indeed confusing as to how these features will work on this KRE8, but if this had been a real phone, then probably, this could really be advanced.
