Mouseless Tech News Reading At Hacker WatrCoolr

Published in Internet by sushaantu

God knows what the computers would have been like had the Xerox not created mouse and further Apple not copied the idea of mouse. Web browsing or just any other thing you do on computer is heavily dependent on the ounce of weight you put on mouse with your fingers.

I came across one website today which collects tech related stories from across the best resources on web and present to you in a very simple manner. Hacker WatrCoolr is the site I am talking about and you guys must boomark this website for reasons I am going to tell now.

Hacker WatrCoolr lets you browse tech news without you having to use mouse. You just have to press the up-down or left-right keys in order to surf stories. I stumbled into  a site with similar navigation but I don’t remember its name now. WatrCoolr is particularly nice if you don’t want to spend like three hours on Google Reader.

WatrCoolr presents you the basic idea of the story and you can decide whether it interests you while WatrCoolr is pretty choosy about the sources from where it collects stories just like Techmeme. It aggregates tech related news from sites like Slashdot, Techmeme, tech sections of Reddit and Digg, Ycombinator, Yahoo and Readbuner etc.

It makes sense for you to use WatrCoolr if you hate mouse or are too lazy to use them.

If you really hate the mouse, try Integrated Keyboarding at:
    http://www.inkeyboard.com
which allows you to move the mouse and cursor, highlight, scroll, drag, number and delete without moving your hands from the home key position.
