Multi Client iPhone Instant Messenger by Palringo

Published in Apple iPhone by sushaantu

There was not a single way to communicate with your windows messenger friends on iPhone until the launch of Palringo in the App store on iTunes. Palringo is the first multi-platform IM application on iTunes while there is Fring ( first ever VoIP app on iPhone) and Agile messenger which can also work but are not available on iTunes App store officially.

Palringo claims itself as a Rich messaging service because you don’t just talk to your friends on it but can also exchange voice and picture messages over it. It’s a convenient application to stay in touch with your friends without consuming too much of your data. You can also set up groups and send messages simultaneously to many friends.

Palringo supports the following networks apart from Windows Live Messenger:

  • Google Talk
  • iChat
  • Gadu-Gadu
  • Jabber
  • AIM
  • Yahoo Messenger
  • ICQ

Users of this application have felt certain issues like you can’t listen to iPod when Palringo is on and that it has to be in the foreground in order to maintain connectivity. You can not sign on one account alone so that is another issue but you have a reason to overlook all these glitches because it is completely free of cost.
