Nokia has announced the 5500 Sport Music Edition, building on the company’s recently released 5500 Sport, and introducing it to its XpressMusic range of devices.

Feature wise, the Nokia 5500 Sport Music Edition is identical to its predecessor, but the refreshed model now comes with a 512MB microSD memory card, fitness carrying strap, bicycle holder, and sports headset in the box.

Probably the most interesting accessory is the carrying strap, which allows the handset to be worn around the waist or on an arm to ensure it stays in place, and to provide easy access to controls when listening to music. The 5500 Sport Music Edition also has a new bronze color scheme to set it apart from the standard 5500 Sport.
