Nokia 5630 XpressMusic Unveiled

Nokia has announced its 5630 XpressMusic, a new S60 device in its XpressMusic lineup intended for music lovers. Less than a half-inch thick, the 5630 is a full-featured multimedia device that provides for an enhanced music experience.


The Nokia 5630 is the latest in Nokia’s XpressMusic range and inherits lot of multimedia capabilities fromĀ  Nokia 5800 Xpress Music The visual interface might seem familiar to some as it is very much inspired by the Nokia N97’s social component.

It features a slim design, music-focused hardware (playback controls, 3.5mm audio jack, 4GB memory card) and software (’Say and Play’ enabled music player, Nokia Music Store access and Comes with Music ),Say and Play allows users to control their playlist by saying their favorite artist or song aloud. It has an enhanced homescreen (Contacts Bar and Shortcut Bar), rich connectivity options (3.5G and WLAN), US charging and a 3.2 megapixel camera.

It looks like a great thing for music lovers with significant focus given on Music features. The phone supports external memory cards up to 16GB. A 4GB microSD card comes bundled with the phone. It will be available in Q2 2009 with an estimated retail price of 199 EUR (US$258).
