Nokia will definitely launch more touchscreen phones in the near future. Nokia N97 is just around the corner Nokia 5800 Xpress Music is one of the best selling Nokia phone ever and the just leaked photos shows the next Nokia device Nokia 5900 Xpress Music Smartphone  with a touchscreen interface and a minimal set of hardware control.

Nokia 5900 XpressMusic is rumored to feature the 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and an integrated active kick stand just like on the N96 and the Nokia N86. Futhermore it will be based on the S60 5th edition and will hopefully feature N97 like active standby with support for widgets?.

Unfortunately it seems that phone lacks the front cam for video calls which leads to conclusion that it lacks supports for high speed 3G networks and it is really hard to believe that Nokia is working on such a phone.

Specifications are, as usual, sparse since this is but just pure speculation although seeing a 3.5″ touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel camera and a sizeable amount of internal memory wouldn’t hurt. Do you think that this could be the successor to the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, or is it just a futuristic clone?
