Nokia N86 Coming To US For $558

Published in Nokia by Jyoti

First seen back in February and passed the FCC approval back in May, the Nokia N86 will now be available in the US in the coming weeks. The Nokia N86 is the Finnish company’s first 8-megapixel camera, and Nokia actually presents it as an “ultimate imaging device.”

Its 8-megapixel camera has Carl Zeiss Tessar Lens, dual LED flash, variable aperture, and autofocus. It also has the capability to capture video at 640 x 480 pixels and 30 fps. It can also read various types of media files, and it comes complete with FM radio with RDS, 3.5mm headset jack, and built-in speakers.

Just like Nokia’s other multimedia devices, this will also support the dual slider form factor, where sliding upwards would show the dedicated media keys and sliding downwards would show the numeric keys.

This will also have 2.6-inch QVGA AMOLED display, GPS, Wi-Fi, digital compass, HSDPA connectivity, and 8GB of internal memory. This will also run on Symbian S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, and will have document viewer, ZIP manager and email client, HTML browser, Nokia Maps, and Ovi integration.

The Nokia N86 will be available for $558 on the unlock version, both online and at Nokia’s flagship stores in Chicago and New York, though no exact release date is announced.
