Apple iPhone might be the most adorable baby of geeks but it lacks some features which we have started to consider for granted on any smart phone. MMS is one feature which was not provided on an iPhone and now a company called Jicecaster has created an app which will let you send MMS now.
Juicecaster has created an app called Flutter which will allow users to send picture messages from their iPhone. Moreover, it will also allow you to geotag images which means you can attach your location with the message you are sending. You can send unlimited picture messages to your friends and the company says that they will make money out of it by putting ads once they’ll have lot of users.
If we go by the comments on the iTunes App Store then it’s hard to believe that this app will strike its chord with the iPhone users. It has received an average rating of 2 out of 5. The main reason why this app is not being liked by people is that when you send images on Flutter, the images are uploaded on the servers of Juicecaster and the recipient gets a text message containing the link of that image.
Further it will supposedly only work in USA and the other thing is that you don’t get to see your MMS history in this app. You can’t see the images online at any website either and that is pretty unfair considering that your images are being stored on their servers.
I liked their mobile social network Juicecaster for iPhone but I can’t say the same about this app.
