Palm Mojo SDK now available to developers and all

Palm has launched its Mojo Developer Kit to everyone so that interested developers can create Palm compatible applications. Pal recently launched its smartphone called Palm Pre which received good reviews and somehow also managed to emerge itself as an iPhone killer. The App Catalog is the Palm’s answer to iPhone App Store and it was made public about six weeks back. Surprisingly more than 1.8 million apps have already been downloaded from the Palm App Catalog.

The Palm Catalog has so far very thin options against the huge collection of apps for Apple iPhone but Palm hopes to reach the levels by now releasing the Software Development Kit with the anticipation that it might attract good developers to create quality application for the Palm web0S.

The Palm Mojo SDK can be downloaded from the Palm Developer website which also provides ample resources to kickstart the developers. It has a section of examples so that developers can get an idea of what they can perform on web0S.
