One of the better search plugin for Safari on Mac, has now embraced Firefox and Internet Explorer. The search plugin was in the experimental stage earlier but now it’s public beta has been released for Firefox and Internet Explorer.
The plugin works pretty fine on Firefox Windows but if you happen to be the one who uses Firefox on Linux Ubuntu then you might get pissed off with it. There are definitely some bugs in the Ubuntu version because you can’t search on Google with it and then it doesn’t saves the settings either.
Since the plugin is in beta so I believe we might see some fixes in few days or weeks from now and they’ll hopefully check what’s wrong with Inquisitor on Firefox Ubuntu as well. As far as Internet Explorer is concerned I haven’t tried it on that one and I don’t intend to do so either in near or anytime in the future. Inquisitor is a Cocoa plug-in for Mac OS X developed by David Watanabe.
