There’s new clamshell phone in the market and it is Samsung Byline SCH-r310 which is now available at MetroPCS. MetroPCS is an American CDMA wireless communication provider in certain states of USA.

Samsung Byline SCH-r310 is available in red color and somehow it reminds me of Nokia N76 which has the same form factor and feel. Nokia N76 was definitely a very chic and sophisticated phone and it seems that same attempt has been done with Samsung Byline as well.

The specifications of the phone make it a a regular phone with the usual stuff like mail, IM, SMS, MMS, EMS, Web browsing, Bluetooth etc. It has something called ChatLINK feature which is essentially a Walkie-Talkie thing.

Some of the specs of Samsung Byline further reveal that it’s just a basic phone which you could probably gift this holiday season.
