Samsung F480 (SGH-F480)

Published in Samsung by Aditi Tuteja

The new Samsung F480 is similar to the Samsung F490. F480 is a 3.5G touchscreen phone that comes with aa 5 megapixel camera which makes it a competing device to the LG’s Viewty.

This year is great for touchscreen devices, Samsung SGH-F480 supports HSDPA, with high speed data downloads of up to 7.2 Mbps. It also supports standard 3G (UMTS), GPRS and EDGE data unfortunately they didn’t give provision for Wi-Fi.

Samsung F480 has is a large 2.8″ 240 x 320 pixel display, and on the back is a 5 megapixel camera that has auto focus and flash. Samsung F480 camera also allows video and image stabilisation with slow motion function and built-in video editor.

This is a tri-band GSM/EDGE, single band UMTS/HSDPA handset so it will probably never make it to the American market.
