Samsung Innov8 Approved By The FCC

Published in Samsung by Jyoti

Samsung InnoV8 is a high-end Symbian S60 smartphone which comes with Wi-Fi, GPS and an 8 mega pixel camera. It was being said earlier that Samsung Innov8 will not reach American shores because it doesn’t support the 3G frequency available in USA. There is however a new development and a device called i8510M has just been approved by FCC. The i8510M is just a version of Samsung Innov8 with support for North American 3G networks (850 / 1900 MHz).

Samsung Innov8 is a slider smartphone with a QVGA screen and numeric keypad. It comes with Symbian S60 Feature Pack 2 (v3.2) and a host of hardware and software that makes it one of the most feature-packed devices available in the market.

There’s nothing official about this at the moment but the Samsung slider could hit AT&T’s stores in early 2009.
