Pink is a trendy color nowadays… After Motorola with their RAZR, and LG with their Chocolate (the list goes on), Samsung announced a pink version of their SCH-B540. Except for the color, there’s nothing new since the previous news on this phone. It is Only available in Korea for the moment.

One of the usual design path by Samsung is by playing around with the add-on features. Samsung SCH-B540 is using one of its slim phone design, but with Digital Media Broadcast capability.

Featuring a 14.9mm body, the clamshell phone ‘SCH-B540′ is able to receive DMB for portable entertainment. The 1.6 million colors screen is certainly providing a better color output on the display screen. There are also dual speaker design at 2 side of the display screen, when it is twisted horizontally. Not satisfied with the QVGA screen? You can always use the TV Out port to watch the media on a much bigger screen. Other standard features include the music player, VOD/MOD services, 2 megapixel camera, bluetooth and file viewer. While DMB is a hot stuff in Korea, we will just have to wait till the technology spread to our region.
