The year 2008 raised the standards of mobile phones in every single feature we care about while purchasing a mobile phone. The year 2009 won’t be any different and in spite of the Recession Economy and Depression individuals, Japanese mobile phone manufacturers seems pretty unperturbed with all this mayhem.

Sharp, the Japanese darling has unveiled another 8 megapizel camera. We are sure to watch more of these “camera octopussies” in the coming times. This one by Sharp is called SH001 and it bears a 8.1Mpix camera with both AF and Face recognition which has an ISO Range up to 2500. It shouldcn’t come as any surprise that this mobile phone will only be available to Japanese. The clam shell weighs 124g and has the size of only 48×11x16.6mm.
