Sony Ericsson Announces Aino Touchscreen Phone

Sony Ericsson has presented their very first touch-screen slider phone with the name Sony Ericcson Aino. The design of this device is indeed something new for touch-screened devices, and it also comes complete with a slide-out alphanumeric keys.

The Sony Ericsson Aino is a powerful multimedia device that has support for Remote Play with PlayStation 3, which allows users to control and access media content on the PS3 using this mobile phone. Aside from that, this also has a large 8.1-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, which indeed makes this a multimedia-centric device.

The screen size is 3 inches and has 240 x 432 pixels resolution and accelerometer. This phone also has support for GPS, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, Bluetooth, and motion gaming; and also applications such as instant messaging, Facebook, and YouTube. It comes equipped with 8GB microSDHC card in the box, and it doesn’t use M2 cards.

This Sony Ericsson Aino is to be available sometime during the early Q4 of 2009 in Luminous White and Black Obsidian colors.
