Sony Ericsson is coming up with so many walkman phones, the Sony Ericsson W890i is another one in line, maybe it needs to seen as a replacement for the ultra-light weight Sony Ericsson W880i.
Sony Ericsson W890i Weighs just 78 grams. The W890i is basically an HSDPA 3.5G phone with a 2″ 240×320 pixel display,and a 3.2 megapixel camera. It also sports Memory Stick Micro expandable memory with a 2GB card in the box, besides the stereo Bluetooth it also has additional FM radio and of course the Sony Ericsson Walkman media player.
Sony Ericsson has mentioned it to have 4.5 hours talktime and 13 days standby time on 3G and an outstanding 9.5 hours talktime and 15 days standby on GSM networks. It is claimed that Sony Ericsson W890i can play back music for 20 hours, or make 3 hours of video calls.
Sony Ericsson say that the W890i will be available in Mocha Brown or Sparkling Silver colours, however their press photographs also reveal an Espresso Black colour scheme. The W890i should be available during Q1 2008.

this is an extra ordinary mobile and walkman is exceptional….. i love my partner w890i so much for its compactness and quality mp3 player. nokia is nothing infront of w890i interms of mp3 player. i am open to say that those who still did not purchase w890i are missing something in life. in particular megabass option helps sony fricsson lot ro survive it’s revial nokia n series.
