Indian mobile maker Spice has launched a new music phone which is being called Spice S-820. Spice has tried to incorporate decent multimedia capabilities into this one. S820 has an inbuilt FM tuner with Yamaha audio amplifier for clear 3D surround sound. Other than that it has a 1.3 megapixel camera which is definitely not what many people aspire for in the times of 8 megapixel behemoths, but it can be given considering the steep pricing given to this one.

Spice S-820 is being priced at Rs. 6599 and it will be in competition with the basic models of Sony Ericsson and it would be interesting to see how S-820 does better than the models of Walkman series. Spice has not been very successful in attracting customers and it is to be seen whether S820 can change their fortune.

Spice S820 also comes preloaded with the mobile content like wallpapers, screensavers and music of this year’s superhit Hindi film Singh is Kinng to give the prospective consumers one more reason to have this music phone. It has some useful features like SMS locking as well which will keep your messages private while you may also block certain calls you don’t want to receive.
