Mtvoid they have made their Bluetooth media control utility ControlFreak freeware. Here’s the home page - it works on all S60 2nd edition smartphones.
ControlFreak enables you to control Winamp and the rest of your computer with your Bluetooth Series 60 phone. It has all of the music and video controls like play, pause, stop, next, previous, fast forward, rewind and volume.

MSI has launched the MEGA-FS530, a set including a Bluetooth kit and speakers that allows you to listen to the audio files located on a BT A2DP product similar to a walkman. You can also plug your Bluetooth adapter into the dock composed of two 3W speakers.
You also have the possibility to plug a MP3 player directly thru the line-in connector. The dock can be powered by batteries or plugged into the main current.

Motorola has wheeled out its Automotive Music & Hands-free System T605 which offers access to digital music and phone calls directly through a car’s sound system.
The T605 is capable of pairing with a compatible Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone and a separate Bluetooth-enabled music source, allowing users to wirelessly stream music from an MP3 player or mobile phone. (more…)

Proporta is selling the Solar Bluetooth GPS Receiver, a new gadget, is a unique device in that it doesn’t display data on its own screen; instead, it sends information to Bluetooth-enabled PDAs and smartphones.
The screen has been replaced with a solar panel that “trickle-charges” the battery in both direct and ambient light. A drained receiver can be fully charged in about four hours using the included car adapter. If users have a TomTom GO, that can be used to provide planning and multilingual vocal directions. The Solar Bluetooth costs $110.

Nokia’s announcement for the new radio technology that is more energy efficient than current technologies.
Similar to Bluetooth, Nokia’s Wibree Technology will allow local wireless connectivity to small devices such as mobile phones, watches, and wireless keyboards - but with minimal power consumption.
Like Bluetooth, the new Wibree technology will allow close range communication of 0-10m (30ft) range, and a data rate of 1 Mbps between devices. Wibree is intended to complement existing Bluetooth technologies.
By utilizing Wibree’s low energy radio chips, connectivity to a new range of smaller peripheral devices like watches and sports monitors will be possible. (more…)
