10 Latest and Upcoming Motorola Mobile Phones

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008 |

The first mover advantage is a myth in real world and nobody knows it better than Motorola which might have created world’s first cell phone but doesn’t seems to have found what it takes to woo customers. Motorola is not really known for making quality handsets but they nevertheless are trying. The last Motorola handset which really created the buzz in the mobile world in true sense was Moto Razr and we are yet to see anything of that nature happening now. Below is a list of handsets that Motorola has recently launched or is about to launch in year 2008.

Motorola W388 review

Thursday, August 14th, 2008 |

Motorola has the habit of raising the expectations and then not delivering proportionately. W388 is one such mobile phone which is supposed to replicate the success of its predecessor Motorola W230. The mobile phone is almost identical to W230 in all the specs except a VGA camera and little memory increase.

Since it’s an entry level mobile phone so there is not much to write about and I am not very fond of Motorola cell phones either.

I don’t think adding a VGA camera is enticing enough for a consumer to buy it. It also provides a memory card slot (up to 2GB) and I wonder how many people will consider it. Its expected price is around $80 and it would be foolish on Motorola’s part to keep very high hopes on this one.
