Nokia has launched two new handsets of its popular N series today in UK. Nokia launched N79 and N85 today which are poised to succeed N79 and N81.
Nokia 79 is a stylish phone with a five megapixel camera with other standard features like an integrated GPS, geotagging, Bluetooth 2.0 etc. Nokia 79 will have changeable front and covers and the available colors would be coral red, espresso brown,olive green, sea blue and canvas white. It will have all the multimedia capabilities we see in other sart phones og N series range. N79 has N Gage compatibility as well and you will get to own one game of your choice with it. It has 3.5G HSDPA which means you can stay online without much hassle.

We at RealGeek recently covered, Nokia N96 review and pictorial overview, We have been keeping a constant eye on this new 3G Smartphone by Nokia. This is one of the great phones nokia has come up with in Nokia N Series in 2008. The Nokia N96 is a dual way slider and has a stylish look and feel to it.

With Nokia finally announcing the Nokia N96, it’s time to take a look at what new features they’ve added since the Nokia N95. The Nokia N96. As a slicker, stronger update to the already powerful Nokia N95, the new N96 has every feature you could want in a cell phone.

Nokia N96 has a 5-megapixel camera with a list of special offerings that make it a great phone. It support a Carl Zeiss lens with flash, and a VGA camcorder that plays and records clips at 30 frames per second.

Nokia has launched its much awaited Nokia N96 handsets in India today and the sudden launch was least anticipated by many. Nokia had to do the UK launch in October and it seems like they changed the schedule and plan to counteract against the Apple iPhone which is going to be launched in India after three days.

If a recent job opening on the Nokia Career website is believed then Nokia has some plans to open Future Vision Showrooms in Silicon Valley (of course the one in USA, not Bangalore) and the other one in Helsinki, Finland. Nokia is looking for extremely talented and creative people for the post of Senior Manager at these Future Vision Showrooms.

This software release ( v12.046 ) includes a number of performance improvements including softkey selection, Bluetooth stability, video playback, email sending and alarm clock functions.

To get this software through your Nokia N78, click Menu > Tools > Utilities > Device Manager. Select Options > Check for updates and follow the on-screen prompts. Remember that you can also use Wi-Fi to download the update.
This software release is available though either the Nokia Software Updater or directly through your Nokia N78.

With the E71 you don’t need to do all settings to set up Gmail imap, which you need to do with other S60 devices from Nokia. On Nokia E71, it is pretty dynamic, it will find all on its own, when you enter your username and password.

But if your having problems like I was when outgoing messages or anything else you can go into your settings for that email account and make sure they all look like what you see below. Make sure your security ports are set right.
To configure IMAP for your Symbian S60 device, just follow these steps:
- Enable IMAP in your Gmail settings.
- Select ‘Messaging’ > ‘Options’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘E-mail’ > ‘Mailboxes.’
- If you have never set up email on your phone before, select ‘Yes’ to define a new mailbox. If you already have other mailboxes, select ‘Options’ and then ‘New mailbox.’
- Select ‘Start’ to begin the setup wizard.
