Palm Treo Pro Review

Treo Pro is planned to be launched in 2009. It is already being termed as “the best looking Palm ever”. Treo Pro will run on the Windows Mobile instead of Palm’s long-awaited Nova operating system.

The initial leak happened yesterday, which we blogged about there was a flash presentation on Palm’s website and now it has been taken down. According to the clear Treo Pro specifications, it has a much slim body if compared to its predecessors.  Treo Pro will run on Windows Mobile 6.1 over 3G.

Another name for Treo Pro is Treo 850, the leaked handset’s design is slightly similar to one of Palm Centro. Treo Pro features a glossy black and white color scheme with various improvements like a 3.5mm headphone jack, wireless button on the side and a microUSB connector.

Treo Pro aka Treo 850 Preview

Palm Treo Pro or Treo 850, is  a reality, but when its gonna hit the market is unknown still. Recently a Flash demonstration of this upcoming Treo 850 or the Treo Pro by Palm was released, which provided full views of the product, with function layouts and more.

On this post you will find some screenshots and details of this device, Treo Pro  is including a top-oriented power button, reset button, and a 3.5mm headset jack, among others. The device features a shiny black finish, and a very simplistic design.

The interface includes function buttons in front which seem to be touch-sensitive, a hat-switch navigator, a full keyboard, volume switches, ringer switch, WiFi enabler button, MicroUSB connection, and several shortcut hotkeys. The unit includes Palm’s standard IR connection port, and touchscreen.

Palm Treo 800w with GPS

Palm have officially announced Palm Treo 800W with integrated GPS to be available on Sprint. With the embedded GPS and Palm software, Treo 800w smartphone offers maps, point-to-point directions and point-of-interest (POI) searches.

This is Sprint’s newest smartphone with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional which is designed for business users who depend on their smartphones for high-speed work on the go. Palm Treo 800w operates on the Sprint and utilizes EV-DO Rev. A networks.

Palm Treo 800w has a larger 320×320 screen, 2 megapixel camera, and a microSD card slot. It will cost $250 with a commitment of 2 years. The door-to-door navigation will additionally cost $10 on top of your mobile plan.
