Skype founders have revealed about their venice project, they call it Joost.com.

This will chnage the way people watch TV on internet, Joost uses new and established technologies to provide the best of both the internet and TV worlds.

They are in the process of making it more like TV, with various programmes, channels and advertisement. You can also see some things that we think will enhance the TV on internet experience.
Currently, TV channels are like playlists of videos up there, you could flip between channels, or use the programme guide to choose a channel or a video to watch. The channels start when you play them and not at any particular day or time. If you let them continue they will loop round to the beginning again…I am looking forward to see it creating all the more buzz in the blogsphere and  internet.
