Web2.0 has changed our lives, its now relatively easy to get productive and use handy online tools in order to plan and organize our tasks, which thereby increase our productivity and efficiency.

Google Calendar
Google Calendar is a powerful and most accessible tool that one could use to add events on the calendar, create additional public calendars so that you can share it with others on your teams or friends.

Each calendar’s events can be color-coded, it is so simple to use and you can do so much with it.

Google Calendar can import events directly from Microsoft Outlook and Yahoo! Calendar, in addition to supporting calendar standards to view schedules on any device supporting iCal or XML files. Gmail also recognizes events mentioned in an e-mail to quickly add them to Google Calendar.
Zoho Projects
Zoho Projects is a project management tool that you could use to manage tasks, milestones, status reports, time tracking and file sharing. Tasks and subtasks exist in a nested structure. It makes your life easy to manage the duration, start date, due date, and task owners. Task owners are notified by e-mail of a task assignment (by the project manager). Its a great tool and it keeps everyone on your team on the same page. Alternatively similar project management tools that are as competent as Zoho are Basecamp, Activecollab.

Google Docs and Spreadsheets.

Docs and Spreadsheets is Google’s handy and Web based version of Microsoft Office tools, MS Word and MS Excel, respectively. You can write docs & spread sheets from any computer. Share them with anyone or keep them private.
Alternatively similar web based application to share spread sheets are Zoho Sheets, Editgrid

MyStickies
Bookmark a website is all we usually do when we like something about a Web page, if there is something to follow up from that we usually forget about it. There is a fun web application MyStickes, which are essentially like same sticky notes but for the Web. You can register for free, and add sticky notes wherever you like. When you come back to a page, the sticky will be there. Such indicators are great because you don’t tend to miss them.

Netvibes
Netvibes is the new revolution that I has changed our browsing pattern, it is the single-page aggregation service that lets users create their own customizable start pages. One can customize various widgetlike modules as per their requirments. These modules can contain nearly anything ranging from weather and traffic reports to personal e-mail and more.
Netvibes has also introduced “Universes” that lets you to make your own branded start pages. You also have ability to share them using a customized URL.
