Video Sharing Site YouTube has incorporated a new feature in its videos. It is called click-To-Buy & does the same role that its name is intended to describe. Yes now you can purchase your favorite videos from YouTube with this new Click-To-Buy feature of Google.

This new move is expected to provide YouTube a platform to showcase itself as the new hot ecommerce destination for the companies selling online multimedia content such as Amazon, iTunes, Electronic Arts. It also opens gates for the music manufacturers like EMI Music, HMV that are currently facing a big threat due to illegal downloads & copyright violations over  YouTube. The participating companies will use Google’s Content ID process to claim their videos.

The Click-To-Buy service is presently available to United States users only. However it is expected to launch in other regions in the near future.
