pollpublogo.gifPollPub, fast rising up the popularity stakes among community user driven online polls and contests, announced a couple of days back the launch of YouTube video polls. PollPub members can now create and vote on polls for multiple YouTube videos and then dispense these polls to other websites via PollPub’s poll embedding feature.

PollPub.com has one of the easiest poll creating processes possible. The website features a user friendly Web 2.0 interface that simplifies the poll publishing process and in three easy steps you are ready with your poll.

Polls are not limited to being displayed on www.pollpub.com. The site gives creators the option to share polls through email, IM, blogs, RSS, or on external web sites.

The user also has the option of letting the general netizens vote on the poll or keeping it limited to a few users and also by sending your preferred group invitational emails. Visitors can browse through interesting poll topics based on newly added, popularity and categories covering a wide variety of topics such as politics, music, business, entertainment, MySpace and now YouTube.

PollPub’s YouTube Video polling gives users the ability to compare and rate their favorite video clips side by side. The process is simple and is as simple as the regular PollPub publishing procedure. The poll publishers will now have the option to insert YouTube video code into the possible answer fields while creating the poll.

Malik Jones, Co-Founder of PollPub.com stated “We are excited to be the first poll website to offer the ability to leverage the power and popularity of YouTube videos within polls. Voting on YouTube content was obviously the next step due to the huge rise in internet video. People can now ask questions such as; which is the best commercial? What was your favorite scene from this movie? Vote on the best fight scene? The list of the great polls that can now be created with our PollPub mashup of YouTube goes on and on!”

PollPub.com is a community forum where people can easily create their own polls, contests and surveys and get opinions and results. Membership is free and the sign up process is relatively quick and easy.

PollPub.com made its debut in the summer of 2006 receiving an encouraging response and has continued to rise in popularity with polls created by high profile entertainers including R&B singer Monica and American Idol Ruben Studdard.

Companies too can host surveys on their website, extranet or intranet.
